Baby Camryn's Blessing

What a special day for our family.  Dan was able to bless baby Camryn.  Grandpa Dean and Grandma Mary were both able to fly in from Utah to be here on her special day.  She looked so beautiful in her blessing dress.  This special dress was made by Great Grandma Gloria Young for mom (Jamie) when she was blessed.  Andee was also blessed in this dress.  Camryn has been such a sweet and easy baby.  She is so content and loves to watch her brother and sister play.  We love you baby girl!!!

Andee....a year in review:

Our Andee girl turned 2!!!!!!!!!!!  This little bug is the love of our life.  She has such a funny sense of humor. She is always making us laugh.  Moms nickname for her is hopper because she is constantly hopping around the house.  Dan calls her sweetie pie and loves to tickle her.  Andee absolutely idolizes her older brother Jace  and follows his around copying everything he is doing.  Although she is a little rough with her new baby sister, she is always wanting to know where baby is and saying "baby so cute".  Her favorite things to do are going to the park to swing and going to "o'donalds" play place.  Her favorite food is nuggets.  She got a kitchen for Christmas this year and LOVED it.  Andee builds Lego towers with her brother Jace and they have fun pushing each other around the house in the wagon or stroller.  This little one is constantly asking to be held saying, "hold me, hold me".  She insists on being sung to sleep at night and usually requests I am a child of God.  Both her and Jace await Dans arrival home at night so they can run to the door and greet him and then be chased around the house.  Her favorite T.V. show is strawberry shortcake.  Her favorite drinks are lemonade and chocolate milk.  She asks mom for treats all day long!  Her big blue eyes can melt any heart.  Andee has such a sweet spirit about her.  She always has a smile on her face and a hop in her step.  We are so very blessed to have her in our home.  We love you Andee Girl!!!!!

Family pics 2013 caught me a bit off guard this year.  My friend and neighbor Kapri Roberts does our fam pics.  She had sent me a facebook message months ago to schedule a time for our pictures.  This last Sunday at church Kapri and her husband Brant were the sacrament meeting speakers.  As I sat and listened to Kapri's talk I thougth...hmmm I think our family pics are coming up soon....I should really remeber to look into that.  Well, as we were leaving church Kapri caught up to us and reminded us that we had our pictures scheduled for that day!!!  Yikes!!!!!!!!  Thankfully my mom was in town and we had done some clothes shopping for the kids the day before.  We were able to throw matching outifts together and get out the door just in the nick of time.  When all was said and done, it was actually kind of nice to not stress out about pics.  I just might have to forget again next year :)

Now that's what you call a great hair day!!!

Jace is the best big brother ever!!!  He is so sweet to his new baby sister.  He is always watching out for her and runs to check on her when he hears her cry.  He loves to say "ah, she's so cute". His favorite thing to do is lay next to her and put his arm around her.  He was very excited to be the big boy that got to move his carseat to the back seat so that his new sister could sit in the front.  He is so good at being soft with his new  sister.

Andee girl can not get enough of her new sister.  She is constantly smothering her with hugs and kisses.  She gives baby Camryn kisses on her head all day long!!!  Andee is not so great at being soft, but hopefully she will get the hang of it soon :)  Andee loves to sit on mom's lap while baby Camryn eats.  She is mom's best helper when baby needs a diaper change and gets the wipes, diaper and bum cream out.  Andee tells us all the time "mom, she cute".  Andee also loves to hold baby and asks, "I hold it?"
