School Time Again

Time for this handsome, funny, and smart 4 year old to do another year of preschool.  He will be in the 4 year old class with Mrs Jacey.  He gets to be in the jungle room.  His favorite part of Mrs. Jacey's classroom are the two birds named Blue and Zig Zag. Our family school theme for this year is "Because i'm  Happy" from the Ferrell song.  Our goal is to have a good attitude and do all we can to help those around us to be happy.  Jace says he will help make his teacher happy by following directions and sharing.  He will make his school friends happy by letting them in line in front of him.  Jace picked out an R2 D2 robot backpack for this school year.  Have a great year buddie!!!

Jace-a-roo turns 4

Where do we even begin to talk about this studly 4 year old???  He is a ball of energy and we love that about him!!!  Jace loves to make up his own songs...especially while in the car and when he is playing in the toy room.  He absolutely LOVES school and learning.  This year he is at TotSpot Preschool in the jungle room with Mrs. Jacey.  His favorite books to read over and over again are his national geographic books about dinosaurs, space and sea animals.  He loves all things treats, especially ice cream, slushies and donuts.  His favorite foods are meatballs, chicken nuggets, hamburgers, peaches, and salad.  He loves riding his blue balance bike and tricycle and jumping on the trampoline.  He also LOVES to swim and had a blast this summer taking swim lessons with his friends at Mrs. Vicki's house.  For his birthday he got a new Thomas the train set, a remote control monster truck, a hot wheels racer set, an animal planet helicopter and some new books.  He hates getting dressed in the morning and going to bed.  Mom loves reading bedtime stories to him and watching him play with his younger sisters.  She also loves it when they get to go on date nights together.  Her favorite date nights were going to see the movie Frozen together and going to get dessert together at Kneaders.  Dad loves taking Jace on "boys only, no girls" outings, especially to places like Provo beach resort, the movie theatre and Home Depot.  Dad also loves to have late night snacks with Jace.  Their favorite snacks to eat together are root beer floats and graham crackers and milk.  Jace is so much fun to be around and loves to be around people!!!  We feel so lucky to have him as part of our family.  We love you Jace man.  Keep being your silly self!!!

July in Utah

We got to spend 5 weeks in Utah this summer.  We originally planned on staying 2 weeks, but Dan ended up having a crazy travel schedule, so mom and the kids stayed longer.  When we first got to Utah dad had some vacation time but ended up getting a HORRIBLE case of strep throat.  He spend 3 days quarantined in the basement to recover and to prevent anyone else from getting sick.  After that he was busy helping his dad and brother file patents.  Dad was gone for 3 weeks traveling to California, New York and Japan for his company, On Semiconductor.  When he was done traveling he flew back to Utah so he could drive us home to Arizona.  He are so grateful that Dad works hard so we can play hard!!!  We got to do so many fun things this summer, including:  Cawabunga bay, Museum of Natural Curiosity, Bean Museum, Planetorium, Aquarium at Mandalay Bay, Living Planet Aquarium, Kangaroo Zoo, Provo Beach Resort, Splash Pad, Grandpa Gil's cabin, Chuckie Cheese and Imax Theatre.  Thanks Grandma and Aunt Kel for our most fun summer yet.  We miss our cousins already!!!!

We LOVE aunt Kel!!!

Grandma was such a trooper to let us stay at her house for so long this summer.  She always keeps her freezer full of popsicles and the fridge full of the kids favorite snacks.  Mom LOVES that Grandma helps with bathtime, bedtime, meals, laundry and all things kids!!!  Mom also loved having a gas station diet coke run buddie all summer.  Grandma often sends mom and Kelli out in the evenings so they can have a break from the kiddos.  She also loves to read to the kids and loves rocking Andee girl and singing her made up songs at bedtime.  We really do appreciate that we have one of the most kind, giving, patient and fun Grandmas ever.  The kids absolutely adore her.  They had so much fun at her house jumping outside on the trampoline with the sprinklers, riding Granftons jeep, picking strawberries, eating popsicles, watching movies on grandma's bed, riding bikes and terrorizing grandmas house!  By the way Grandma, sorry about the blue paint stain on the carpet....oops.  Thank you Grandma for always spoiling us!!!
