July in Utah

We got to spend 5 weeks in Utah this summer.  We originally planned on staying 2 weeks, but Dan ended up having a crazy travel schedule, so mom and the kids stayed longer.  When we first got to Utah dad had some vacation time but ended up getting a HORRIBLE case of strep throat.  He spend 3 days quarantined in the basement to recover and to prevent anyone else from getting sick.  After that he was busy helping his dad and brother file patents.  Dad was gone for 3 weeks traveling to California, New York and Japan for his company, On Semiconductor.  When he was done traveling he flew back to Utah so he could drive us home to Arizona.  He are so grateful that Dad works hard so we can play hard!!!  We got to do so many fun things this summer, including:  Cawabunga bay, Museum of Natural Curiosity, Bean Museum, Planetorium, Aquarium at Mandalay Bay, Living Planet Aquarium, Kangaroo Zoo, Provo Beach Resort, Splash Pad, Grandpa Gil's cabin, Chuckie Cheese and Imax Theatre.  Thanks Grandma and Aunt Kel for our most fun summer yet.  We miss our cousins already!!!!

We LOVE aunt Kel!!!

Grandma was such a trooper to let us stay at her house for so long this summer.  She always keeps her freezer full of popsicles and the fridge full of the kids favorite snacks.  Mom LOVES that Grandma helps with bathtime, bedtime, meals, laundry and all things kids!!!  Mom also loved having a gas station diet coke run buddie all summer.  Grandma often sends mom and Kelli out in the evenings so they can have a break from the kiddos.  She also loves to read to the kids and loves rocking Andee girl and singing her made up songs at bedtime.  We really do appreciate that we have one of the most kind, giving, patient and fun Grandmas ever.  The kids absolutely adore her.  They had so much fun at her house jumping outside on the trampoline with the sprinklers, riding Granftons jeep, picking strawberries, eating popsicles, watching movies on grandma's bed, riding bikes and terrorizing grandmas house!  By the way Grandma, sorry about the blue paint stain on the carpet....oops.  Thank you Grandma for always spoiling us!!!
